Riccardo Ricci
Riccardo Ricci is Ph.D. Student in Management, Production and Design at the Department of Management and Production Engineering (DIGEP) of Politecnico di Torino. He holds a B.Sc. in Management Engineering from University of Bologna and a M.Sc. from Politecnico di Torino.
His research activity covers topics related to the relationship among Industry 4.0 and lean production especially in SMEs. In particular, the PhD thesis will investigate if and how lean production can explain the adoption and implementation of Industry 4.0. He also wrote articles related to the role of universities to foster innovation in local ecosystems through knowledge and technology transfer and entrepreneurship education.
Previous work experiences include consulting activities in the ICT department of CNH Industrial, in the automotive industry.
