Alessandro Destefanis is a Ph.D. Candidate in Management, Production and Design at the Department of Management and Production Engineering (DIGEP) of Politecnico di Torino.He holds both Bachelor and Master of Science in Management Engineering from Politecnico di Torino.
He previously worked in the purchasing department in CNH Industrial SPA as buyer specialist, in the office in charge of Automated Driving Assistance Systems and later in Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited as a Robotic Process Automation consultant in Milan headquarter.
His research aims at exploring how strategic management of disruptive innovation affects value creation and value appropriation capabilities of the players in given industries or sectors, with a focus on accommodation sector. Quantitative data analytics through statistical models is the main methodology used to answer research questions.
